EVERTHING ABOUT EYEWEAR IN 2019...
Silmo Istanbul 2019, which took place in a 17.000 square meter area in the 9th, 10th and 11th halls of Istanbul Expo Center, has brought together 153 local and international exhibitor companies, over 800 brands; latest technological products, innovative and trending collections, accessories, lens cutting machines and everything about eyewear with visitors from the optical sector. The show which lasted for four days in total, has accommodated 11.370 visitors both national and international. The number of national visitors have increased by 7.5% compared to 2018 and became 9.278, likewise international visitors increased by 8% and numbered 2.092. Hosting everything about eyewear, Silmo Istanbul 2019 gained full marks from the exhibitor companies and visitors.

Silmo Istanbul Optical Fair, being organized in Turkey as a socio-economically and culturally key location, has once again proven to be an attractive market for the optical industry. Increasing the number of its international visitors each year, Silmo Istanbul keeps playing a decisive role in the regional trade. Thanks to this commercial platform, distributorship agreements with licenced brands took place, new partnerships are made, and local production is increased and revitalized. The contentment of visitors coming from MENA (Middle East and North Africa), Turkic Republics, India, Europe, Balkans and many other regions and countries demonstrated Silmo Istanbul’s strenght in leadership for the next years.
2019 SHOW REWARDS...
Silmo İstanbul keeps rewarding its visitors this year as well. Silmo Istanbul will repeat this year its Paris Travel Draw for those who issue their badges online, under its motto ‘You are our guest to Paris’. 3 lucky individuals who will be determined by this draw will be given the opportunity to visit Silmo Paris Optical Fair and the charming city of Paris between 2 to 5 October in 2020.
Whereas the ‘Gift Draw’ which Silmo Istanbul is offering to its visitors with contributions from the exhibitor companies is almost become a tradition. This draw to which the visitors who issue their badges online are entitled to, will be contributed by the exhibitor companies like each year with their products. International Silmo Istanbul Optical Fair, as a specialization-focused fair show, is reflecting a perfection which incorporates the future thanks to all of its services and influence. International Silmo Istanbul 2020 show will take place next year on November 19 to 22, 2020 in the 9th 10th and 11th halls of Istanbul Expo Center Yeşilköy.
